It's very simple.  If you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and you believe that He died for your sins and God raised him from the dead, confess it out loud and you will be saved.

That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  Romans 10:9

You can be all by yourself, on the couch, at your desk, in the car, it doesn't matter. 

Say this out loud (only if you mean it with all your heart)

Father, I confess my sins against you and others.  I ask you for forgiveness through Your Son, Jesus Christ.  I beleive that He died for me on the cross and paid the price of my salvation.   I beleive that you raised Him from the dead.  Jesus, I'm asking you to come live inside my heart.  I don't know all it means to be a Christian, Jesus, but I'm asking you to into my life to show me the way day by day.  Thank You, Father, for the for the gift of salvation and eternal life.  In Jesus' name, Amen.
