What if you go through life convinced there's no God, no Jesus, no Heaven, no eternity and find yourself at the end and realize that God, Jesus, Heaven, and eternity all exist -- but of course you won't be spending time with them because you sealed your fate for eternity in a *warmer* climate. So you'll go through life basically alone, at least without any supernatural help to lean on, and then when life on earth ends you'll spend eternity regretting your lack of faith.
Now, let's suppose I'm wrong. Let's say I go through my life convinced all those things are real and living. I do my best to follow God's Word. I love, I have faith and hope, and I get to the end of life on earth and find out that's the end. What have I lost? It seems to me that YOU have a lot more to lose if you risk being wrong that I do. The real TRUTH is that I KNOW that I am right. I know that when my work here is done, I'm going to heaven to enjoy paradise for eternity. The question is whether I will see you there or not. I sincerely hope you'll put your faith in the truth and not be deceived and cheated out of eternal life. |
