Purpose

The mission of TruthCity.net is to:

• Help non-believers overcome the roadblocks, barriers, and misconceptions which have prevented them from getting to know Christ by showing them the simple truths of Christianity so that they may have and enjoy life to the fullest.
• Help Christians grow and enjoy life by presenting Biblical messages in a practical and applicable way.
• Motivate Christians to influence their own world by taking an active part in sharing the gospel with others and promoting God in society.
• Provide a place for fellowship where Christians can meet and share online.

There is plenty of evil and dishonest stuff on the internet: 
deception, pornogrophy, false teaching, you name it. 
But as for me and my mouse, we shall serve the Lord!

The creator of TruthCity.net and author of many of the articles is Bob Burner (that's me!)  I've learned first hand the awesome power of God in one's life and I'm excited to share that with everyone who will listen.

I'm pretty much a regular guy, experiencing life one day at a time just like you.  I make mistakes, face trials, and have difficulties.  If you want to dig into my life and expose my shortcomings, I'll save you the trouble: I am the wretch the song talks about!

I am by no means perfect, just forgiven.  On my own, I am nothing.  But, in Christ, I am righteous - and you are too!

Method

The style and method used on TruthCity.net to share the truth isn't what you find everywhere else.  We tend to offer messages that are straight to the heart of the matter and not sugar coated at all.  We want to make every message easy to grasp and apply for everyone.  Many people are put off by the preconceived ideas they have about Christianity and intimidated by things they don't understand.  We want to make God accessible to everyone.
